A Refined, Light-Filled Space Crafted for Elevated Urban Living



La Villette

PARIS, FRANCE

In the first phase of this cost-conscious renovation, this 45 m² / 484 ft² one-bedroom flat was thoughtfully reworked to enhance both character and functionality while maximising its existing charm. Wainscoting was introduced to add subtle architectural depth and refinement, while the original flooring was restored to highlight its natural warmth and character.

A minimalist furnishing approach was selected to create a sense of openness and balance throughout the space, while carefully placed accents of colour help soften negative space and introduce warmth. This initial transformation focused on unlocking the flat’s full potential through simple, high-impact interventions, laying the foundation for future enhancements.

Located in the 19th arrondissement near La Villette, the flat is just moments from Parc de la Villette and its expansive cultural spaces, as well as the scenic Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.
